[2 PE 3:13]  Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein
dwelleth righteousness.
~Zion's Happy Future
[ISA 35:1-10]  The wilderness
and the solitary place shall be glad for them and the desert shall rejoice,
and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even
with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the
excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD,
and the excellency of our God. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm
the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear
not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence
he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap
as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall
waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall
become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation
of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And an
highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness
the unclean shall not pass over it but it shall be for those: the wayfaring
men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any
ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there but the
redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and
come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall
obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
~New Heavens and a New Earth
[ISA 65:17-25]  For, behold,
I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered,
nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I
create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of
weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall
be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled
his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old but the sinner
being an hundred years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses,
and inhabit them and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of
them. They shall not build, and another inhabit they shall not plant,
and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and
mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour
in vain, nor bring forth for trouble for they are the seed of the blessed
of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass,
that before they call, I will answer and while they are yet speaking,
I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall
eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They
shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
[MAT 5:5]  Blessed are the
meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
~The New Heaven and Earth
[REV 21:1-7]  And I saw
a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be
their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there
shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there
be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat
upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me,
Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is
done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto
him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that
overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God, and he shall
be my son.
~The River and the Tree of Life
[REV 22:1-5]  And he shewed
me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the
throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on
either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve
manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of
the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more
curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and his servants
shall serve him: ]  And they shall see his face and his name shall
be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there and they need
no candle, neither light of the sun for the Lord God giveth them light:
and they shall reign for ever and ever.
~The Seventh Trumpet - Christ's
Reign Foreseen
[REV 11:15]  And the seventh
angel sounded and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms
of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ and
he shall reign for ever and ever. |
