| [2 PE 1:20-21] Knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came
not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were
moved by the Holy Ghost.
[2 TI 3:16-17] All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
[PSA 119:105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.
[PRO 30:5-6] Every word of God is pure: he is
a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words,
lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
[ISA 8:20] To the law and to the testimony: if
they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light
in them.
[JOH 17:17] Sanctify them through thy truth:
thy word is truth.
